Peru’s exhibition stand at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026 in Madrid has received an award from the Ibero-American Press Correspondents Association (ACPI) in recognition of its contribution to promoting Peru’s cultural and gastronomic heritage on the global stage.
The 483-square-meter Peruvian stand, built around the concept “La Yunza: The Tree That Unites Us”, has been one of the most visited spaces at the fair since January 21, drawing international attention for its design that celebrates unity, cultural diversity, and gratitude to the land.
Visitors at FITUR 2026 have had the opportunity to experience live culinary demonstrations featuring classic Peruvian dishes and Pisco, as well as cultural performances including traditional dance and live mural painting. The stand also features an immersive exhibit showcasing Peru’s iconic landscapes, from the Andes and Pacific coast to the Amazon rainforest.
FITUR, one of the world’s premier travel trade shows, takes place annually in Madrid and brings together tourism professionals, media, and travel enthusiasts from around the world.
