Peru will take part in ITB Berlin 2026, one of the world’s most important tourism trade fairs, as the event’s official Adventure Travel Partner. The participation aims to highlight the country’s unique landscapes, biodiversity, and growing reputation as a leading destination for outdoor and nature-based travel.
Held annually in Germany, ITB Berlin brings together thousands of tourism professionals, destinations, and travel experts from around the world to discuss industry trends and promote global travel experiences.
During the 2026 edition, Peru’s presence will focus on the country’s diverse adventure tourism offerings, from trekking in the Andes and exploring ancient Inca trails to discovering the Amazon rainforest and protected natural areas.
With ecosystems ranging from the Pacific coast to the high Andes and the Amazon basin, Peru is widely recognized as one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet. This diversity allows travelers to experience a wide range of activities including hiking, wildlife observation, cultural encounters, and community-based tourism.
