Barranco to Host Peru's Largest Specialty Coffee Festival

Coffee lovers visiting Lima this July will have the chance to experience Peru's vibrant coffee culture at Cafestival, a special event that brings together some of the country's leading coffee producers, baristas, roasters, and chefs in the heart of Barranco.

Supported by the Municipality of Barranco, the festival will take place on Saturday, July 18, at the intersection of Pasaje Génova and Pasaje Piérola. Visitors will be able to sample specialty coffees from different regions of Peru, meet local producers, and enjoy coffee tastings, brewing demonstrations, workshops, and talks about the country's growing specialty coffee industry.

The event will also bring together some of Peru's leading names in gastronomy to show how specialty coffee can be paired with a wide variety of dishes. Among them is Mitsuharu 'Micha' Tsumura, creator of Maido, who will take part alongside other culinary experts to highlight the connection between coffee and Peruvian cuisine.

Designed for both coffee enthusiasts and curious travelers, Cafestival offers a great opportunity to discover one of Peru's finest products while exploring Barranco, one of Lima's most vibrant neighborhoods. The event is expected to showcase the diversity, quality, and growing international reputation of Peruvian specialty coffee.
