Planning to explore Peru's natural landscapes this month? On September 27, 2026, visitors will be able to enter 15 natural protected areas in Peru free of charge as part of the country's celebration of World Tourism Day.
The initiative was announced by Peru's Ministry of Environment (Minam) through the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp). The special zero-sol admission will be available only on September 27, although the conditions vary depending on the destination and type of visitor.

-Historical Sanctuary of the Pampa de Ayacucho
Location: Quinua, Ayacucho
Free admission: Peruvian and foreign visitors
-National Reserve System of Islands, Islets and Guano Points
Location: Various points along the Peruvian coast (Guañape Islands, Cavinzas Islands and Palomino Islets, Punta San Juan and Punta Coles)

-Mangroves of Tumbes National Sanctuary
Location: Zarumilla, Tumbes

-Ampay National Sanctuary

-Güeppi-Sekime National Park
