The 66th National and 16th World Marinera Competition 2026, Peru’s most important celebration of its national dance, officially began on January 25, bringing together dancers from across Peru and around the world.
The competition includes elimination rounds, semifinals, and finals, featuring multiple age categories, from young children to adult and senior dancers. Performances highlight the elegance, rhythm, and expressive style of the Marinera Norteña, a cultural symbol of Peru.

Semifinals and finals will be broadcast by TV Perú, available both on national television in Peru and via online streaming for international audiences.
