Day 1: Lima

Upon your arrival to the Lima Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives,
who will provide a brief introduction to the city and our services while driving you to your
hotel in Miraflores. You will have the remainder of the day free to relax and get acquainted
with the city at your own pace. Depending on your arrival time, we have plenty of suggestions
for you so you can make the most of your first day in Lima.

Day 2: Lima City Tour & the Bohemian neighborhood of Barranco; Flight to Cusco

Get ready to explore Lima and all it has to offer! Our tour starts in the morning with a visit to the
Historic Downtown area. First, you will stop off at the Main Square, where you will walk through
its most important streets and observe its architectural monuments like the Cathedral and the
Government Palace. Afterwards you will head to the San Francisco Convent and its renowned
catacombs.

You will complete your tour of Lima with a visit to the Bohemian neighborhood of Barranco, a
neighborhood called home by countless artists, photographers, and authors. Walk along
beautiful streets lined with Republican houses, admire the splendid views, and visit the Puente
de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs), the source of inspiration for one of Peru’s great composers,
Chabuca Granda.

You will then be taken to the airport and fly to Cusco, where you will be transferred to your
hotel.

Day 3: Cusco: City Tour & San Pedro Market

Today we will explore the amazing city of Cusco, which was the Capital of the Inca empire and
one of the most historical cities in the Americas.

In the morning, you will begin your tour visiting the Fortress of Sacsayhuamán, one the most
important military and ceremonial centers in Incan times. We will continue our tour strolling
through the main square, where you will be able to explore the Cathedral and admire its
exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th
centuries. Just a few blocks away, you will explore one of Cusco’s most impressive buildings,
Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold.

As you return to the lower part of the city, you will stop off at the San Pedro Market, where you
will be mesmerized by the variety of unique and traditional produce and discover new aromas
and tastes of the region.

Day 4: Sacred Valley: Chinchero, Maras, Moray & Ollantaytambo

Today you will experience a full-day private guided excursion throughout the Sacred Valley of
the Incas.

First, you will visit the ruins of the Andean village of Chinchero, located high-up on the
windswept plains of Anta (12,342.52 feet). You will find yourself surrounded by gorgeous views
overlooking the Sacred Valley and the snow-capped peak of Salkantay dominating the western
horizon. This excursion combines Incan ruins with a typical Andean village, a colonial church,
some wonderful mountain views, and a colorful traditional market.

En route, you will witness one of the best sites in the valley: the huge circular agricultural
terraces at Moray, built by the Incas in natural sinkholes. They sit on a limestone plateau
overlooking the Urubamba Valley.

For lunch, you will enjoy a traditional Peruvian – Andean cuisine at Tunupa Restaurant,
conveniently located in a beautiful setting overlooking the Urubamba River. In the afternoon,
you will continue on to visit Ollantaytambo, an old Inca fortified village where we may observe
some of the best examples of Inca architecture in the region. Surviving structures here include
multiple walls and towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible invasions.

Day 5: Machu Picchu; Citadel Excursion – Cusco

After a very early rise, you will board the train from the Ollantaytambo Station heading to Machu
Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). This train journey is a spectacle in itself! You will be able to
appreciate Peru’s immense biodiversity as you witness the landscape transition from Andean
green fields to lush rainforest, descending alongside the Urubamba River.

Upon your arrival to the Aguas Calientes train station, you will take a 20 minute bus ride up to
the spectacular site of Machu Picchu. You will explore this enigmatic sanctuary where your
expert guide will lead you through the ruins, providing archaeological and historical information
on key areas of interest, including The Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana (the Sun Dial) and the
Sacred Plaza. You will appreciate the most amazing views from the top of the citadel! This is an
opportunity to revel in the energy and atmosphere of one of the most significant and spectacular archaeological sites of the world, surrounded by the cloud forest.

You will also have the opportunity to see Llamas meandering around in their natural
environment.

After descending to Machu Picchu Pueblo, you will have some free time for lunch, and wander
through this picturesque town. In the afternoon, you will board the return train to

Ollantaytambo Station where one of our representatives will be waiting for you to take you back
to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco – Lima – Buenos Aires & Tango Show

In the evening we will take you to one of the most famous tango shows in the city, where you
will get to know this sensual dance over a traditional meal.

Day 7: City Tour Buenos Aires & Recoleta

We pick you up at the hotel and then start our city tour of Buenos Aires at Plaza Mayor. Many
important political events have taken place in the Plaza Mayor since 1810 and we learn more
about Argentina's past and current situation here. Afterwards, we visit the famous
neighbourhoods of La Boca, Palermo and Recoleta. In Recoleta we also visit Argentina's most
famous cemetery, where many personalities are buried.

Day 8: Buenos Aires – El Calafate

At the appropriate time, we will take you to the airport and you will take the flight to El
Calafate. Once there, we will take you to your hotel and you will have the afternoon at leisure.
Stroll through the town, visit the Glaciarium to learn more about glaciology or book another
activity.

Day 9: Perito Moreno Glacier

In the morning we will take you to the Perito Glacier. This 150 km2 iceberg is located in the
Glacier National Park of Patagonia and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
From the viewing point you can perfectly observe the 50 to 60 meter high glacier wall.
Optionally (not included in the price) you can also book a one-hour boat trip to the northern or
southern side of the glacier.

Day 10: Glacier Tour Patagonia

Transfer to the port of Punta Bandera, 47 km from El Calafate. Departing, we board our boat
and begin our journey through the northern arm of Lago Argentino. We cross the Boca del
Diablo towards the Upsala Channel and navigate among the large icebergs that break off the
front of the Upsala Glacier. Then we enter the Spegazzini Channel and a few moments later we
have the first view of the Dry Glacier. We continue to the front of Spegazzini glacier, where we
will also look at Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers. At the Spegazzini glacier we will get out and
visit the area. We will walk along a forest path to the Spegazzini hut. This 300-meter trail is
barrier-free and along our way we will stop at stations and viewpoints overlooking the entire
Bahía de Los Glaciares. At the refuge we can have lunch (not included) or contemplate the
landscape. If you like hiking, you can take the mountain trail. This tour is a moderately difficult
hike along a forest trail with natural viewpoints and incredible views, ending at the landing
point.

At the end of this unforgettable excursion we will bring you back to El Calafate.

Day 11: El Calafate – Iguazu

In the morning you will be taken to the airport and fly via Buenos Aires to Iguazu.

In the morning we visit the Iguazu National Park on the Argentine side. The national park is a

will visit the Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diabolo) from where we will have the best view of the
falls, the upper part to see the falls from above and the lower part where we can admire
nature, vegetation and the experience the waterfall up close. Afterwards you have time to
have lunch (not included).

necessary) are necessary. You can decide on site together with the guide which of the hikes

Day 14: Visit Christ the Redeemer and drive to Sugar Loaf; Adios!

In the morning we start our tour. We will visit the most famous attraction of the city, the
"Miracle of Rio", better known as Christ the Redeemer.

After a panoramic walk along the beaches, we reach the train station to take the train to
Corcovado. Corcovado is not only an ecological refuge, but also part of the Tijuca Forest
National Park, the largest urban forest in the world.

After lunch, we will drive to Sugar Loaf Mountain, a 395 m high mountain located in the middle
of Guanabara Bay. The climb, which is done in two stages, will allow us to reach its summit,
from where you will have a magnificent panoramic view of the city.

After the excursion you will return to the hotel.

At the appropriate time, you will be taken to the airport to return to your home country. You
will leave with wonderful photos, new experiences and unique memories.
