Peruvian Sunrise Obtains ISO 9001:2015 Certification: What It Means for You

As we mentioned before, our company, Peruvian Sunrise, obtained in October 2020 the Certification of the international norm that standardizes the Quality Management System called “ISO 9001:2015“.
This was thanks to the support of the Peruvian Government, through its National Program for Technological Development and Innovation (Proinnóvate), which supports Peruvian companies and is committed to strengthening them in terms of innovation and productivity.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It establishes a framework for a Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring that organizations can consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while striving for ongoing improvement.
It should be noted that ISO 9001 was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with the objective of implementing the international standardized system for quality management.

How was the process?
Our journey to ISO 9001:2015 certification was a significant achievement. It began with a dedicated effort from our team, led by Delia Sulla, and included months of preparation, auditing, and optimization in various areas of the company, as well as hard work to achieve this long-awaited goal.
Each department was thoroughly evaluated by LLC-Certification, a global certification body based in Prague. The audits examined everything from our customer service processes to our operational management to ensure compliance with all requirements.
We had several dates where LLC-Certification Peru, through a member of its organization, conducted audits. During these meetings, he met with representatives from all areas of the company to ensure compliance with the required points.
At Peruvian Sunrise we are very proud to be able to say that we meet all the requirements and therefore our customers can have the security and confidence they expect from us.
Thanks to the support of the Peruvian Government through its National Program for Technological Development and Innovation (Proinnóvate), we were able to make necessary innovations and improvements that strengthened our capabilities.
