As mentioned on the German DW website, in reality “the Incas are mysterious in general”. This is the trail that will take you directly to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu through the Intipunku (Sun Gate). Its duration varies depending on whether you take the standard trail (4d) or the short trail (2d) for those who do not have enough time. 

This will allow you to walk the same route as the Incas did in ancient times. Due to its beauty and history, to be able to go to this Inca trail or Qhapaq Ñan, it is necessary to reserve your tickets months in advance, because it is a very popular area with a limited daily capacity.
