The following information provides a detailed breakdown of our terms and conditions.

Furthermore, if you have any questions about Peruvian Sunrise's Terms & Conditions, please contact us at +51 84 599005 (during office hours) or email us at sales@peruvian-sunrise.com.

1. Our Service

Peruvian Sunrise is a local tour operator based in Peru, offering booking, consulting, and coordination services. We prepare tailor-made itineraries and manage your bookings and payments with a variety of independent suppliers, including hotels, restaurants, airlines, and other transportation options, as well as private guides and additional services as specified in your itinerary. We ensure these suppliers provide high-quality services, although they operate independently from us.

2. Insurance

Peruvian Sunrise, along with our representatives, employees, and agents, are not liable for any expenses or damages incurred by the visitor, their dependents, or traveling companions in the various aforementioned scenarios.

Travelers must directly pay service providers for any emergency services required. The same payment procedure applies to other services not covered by insurance. Additionally, we advise travelers to consult their physicians to ensure they are up-to-date on vaccinations and to address any health concerns related to international travel. Moreover, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip to Peru.

3. Travel Documents

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and meet all necessary entry requirements for the country. These requirements vary by country and nationality and may change over time. Moreover, Peruvian Sunrise will inform you of general requirements, and we also suggest verifying specific documentation needs with the corresponding embassy or consulate.

4. Privacy

We highly value your privacy. When you book with us, we collect essential personal information such as your name, address, contact details, birthdate, desired destinations, and travel activities. Peruvian Sunrise Co. also collects necessary details, like passport information, to plan your trip.

Futhermore, we understand the sensitive nature of this information and will not share your information with third parties except as needed to book flights, hotels, or other reservations unless you give us express written permission. So, by making your initial deposit, you authorize Peruvian Sunrise to use your personal information as required for planning your trip and providing you with the proper services.

5. Health

By making your initial deposit, you confirm that you do not have any physical conditions that could make traveling unsafe for you or others. You also agree to obtain all necessary vaccinations and acknowledge the risks associated with high-altitude travel.

6. Limitation of Liability, Release, and Indemnity

Peruvian Sunrise Co. acts as an intermediary between clients and carefully selected service providers. We secure hotel accommodations, transportation, restaurant bookings, and other services from various independent suppliers. These suppliers are independent contractors and manage their operations independently.

  • Client Responsibility

By contracting Peruvian Sunrise and making full payment for specified services, the client acknowledges that Peruvian Sunrise is not liable for any delays, damages, accidents, personal injuries, illnesses, acts of war, strikes, labor issues, overbooking, service downgrades, mechanical failures, transportation issues, or any circumstances beyond our control. Clients must seek any refunds directly from the service providers. Furthermore, Peruvian Sunrise is not responsible for any negligent or willful acts of any service provider or any third party.

  • Assistance with travel

Domestic flights or trains may occasionally face overbooking, cancellations, and schedule changes. Should such situations arise, we will make every effort to assist clients in boarding their flights or arranging alternative transportation. However, it's important to note that this assistance is offered as a courtesy and does not make Peruvian Sunrise liable for denied boarding, additional costs incurred, or compensation for missed connections due to such delays or cancellations.

7. Payment, cancellation, and refund policies

  • Payment

A deposit of 30% of the total price of the trip is required to confirm the booking.
The remaining amount (70%) is due thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the trip.

  • Cancellation

    • Full refund minus a $150 fee if canceled 45 days before the trip.
    • Within 30 and 45 days, there will be a 70% refund of the total payment.
    • 50% refund if canceled between 15 and 29 days before the trip.
    • If the cancellation is made between 7 and 14 days before the trip, 20% of the total cost will be refunded; if the cancellation is made less than 6 days prior, there will be no return.
    • The deadline must be canceled in advance if it falls on a weekend or holiday.
  1. Postponement and cancellation of domestic flights

Domestic flights have their own terms and conditions, and they are excluded from the general cancellation policy. Flights can be postponed to another date by paying an extra fee to the airline (the client has to bear the costs). In case of cancellation, we will have to charge the client a fee of $75.00 US/person/route.

  2. Postponement and cancellation Inca Trail

For the Inca Trail (02 and 04 days), there is an entrance fee of $150 US, which we have to pay to the Peruvian government. The date of this entrance fee cannot be changed, nor can the ticket be transferred to another person. Hence, the entrance fee will be lost in any case of postponement or cancellation of your trip, and the client will have to bear the cost.

  3. Postponement and cancellation Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu, and Machu Picchu Montaña

For the Machu Picchu Entrance Ticket, $50 per person is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. In case of cancellation of the entrance ticket to Huayna Picchu, and Machu Picchu Montaña, $60 per person is non-refundable. It is also not possible to change the booked date or the names of the travelers once tickets are purchased. These rules are set by the National Ministry of Culture (INC, Instituto Nacional de la Cultura).
